How can we protect our children from toxins?

As mentioned earlier, this is very difficult to do because there are toxins  almost everywhere. A wrong diet or bad habits can also cause pollutants to accumulate in the body and negatively affect the functioning of the organs.

However, once the sources of the toxins are known,  various measures can be taken to reduce them as much as possible and protect our children from the negative effects.

There are still more chemicals in our everyday life that are responsible for various health ailments. While treatment options also improve, these toxins very often cause serious illness.

In children in particular, this can trigger allergies, developmental and behavioral disorders, learning disabilities or even cancer.

The result is a weakened immune system, which in turn can lead to chronic ailments. Autism or ADHD are also associated with environmental toxins, for example.

Toxins that make us and our children sick

  • Mercury fillings.  The mercury from the amalgam fillings, the so-called “seal”, dissolves very slowly and gets into the organism, which is said to lead to neurological damage, among other things.
  • Pharmacological agents.  Children are given dangerous medication to treat certain diseases. For example, drugs for ADHD are often prescribed, although in many cases it would not be necessary. These are amphetamines that are similar to the drug methamphetamine. Antidepressants are also increasingly being prescribed to children.

Medication
  • MNG or monosodium glutamate. This toxin is found everywhere, especially in food and personal care products.
  • Ready meals and fast food.  Children love these products. But while the smell and taste of fast food can be tempting for many, it is loaded with chemicals that can increase the risk of cancer. In addition, such foods are responsible for obesity and other diseases that can greatly reduce the quality of life.

Fast food
  • Chemical products from laundries. These chemicals are very useful when it comes to doing laundry, but they also have high levels of toxic compounds that can be harmful to our health and that of our children.
  • Shampoos or other personal care products. You may not be aware of the substances that shampoos and other personal care products contain. You can see it for yourself on every packaging. Many of the ingredients are harmful to the body, so it is advisable to choose natural care products.

More toxins

  • Cleaning products for the house. Cleaning agents such as oven cleaners, washing-up liquids or soaps contain chemicals that can be dangerous. Inhaling and ingesting these products can have a significant impact on our health and even lead to death. Keep them out of the reach of children.
  • Environmental pollution.  Air pollution is inevitable: exhaust fumes from vehicles, factories, cigarette smoke and other toxic substances in the environment can have a major impact on health.
    Cigarettes
    • Soft drinks and lemonades.  Children like the taste of these drinks and many consider these to be the best thirst quenchers. In truth, these soft drinks contain large amounts of sugar and phosphoric acid, which are harmful to the health of our children’s teeth and bones.
