Ulcers do not always cause direct discomfort, but the consequences can be felt in the digestive tract if you eat or drink more than once.

The reasons for the development of gastric ulcers are many:

  • Bacterial infection: The bacterium is called Heliobacter Pylori and it gets into the stomach through food.

  • Too Much Stomach Acid:  People who have too much stomach acid are more likely to develop stomach ulcers.

  • Meat, fish and eggs are grilled with little fat
  • Cereals, legumes and pasta with vegetables
  • Vegetables, preferably in pureed form
  • Very ripe, not acidic, fresh or fried fruits, also in the form of a porridge or compote

  • Beverages such as water, diluted broths, and gentle infusions
  • Oils from olives, sunflower, corn or soy, vegetable margarine

In contrast, the following foods are prohibited:

  • Strong cheeses, fermented or very mature cheeses
  • Very high-fat meat such as rabbit, pickled fish, fried egg or hard-boiled egg
  • Freshly baked bread, sweetened biscuits filled with chocolate, whole grain cereals
  • Legumes with bacon
  • Bloating vegetables like kale, white cabbage or cauliflower, onions, raw peppers, or artichokes.

    • Sour fruits, fruits in syrup, candied, raw and unripe fruits
    • Coffee, tea, guarana, chocolate, soft drinks or alcoholic beverages
    • Butter, cream, bacon and tallow
    • Stock cubes, honey, cakes and pastries, concentrated wines, chips, chocolate, spicy sauces, nuts, ice cream.

    Aside from the aforementioned foods, you can also take advantage of the following natural gastric ulcer remedies:

    • Mix five egg whites with two tablespoons of olive oil. Then consume this mixture throughout the day.
    • Drink two to five glasses of freshly squeezed celery juice, which contains the stems and leaves, every day.

    • Eat green bananas every day , baked or boiled, as these ensure that the stomach’s protective layer against gastric juices builds up again.
    • Eat wheat germ as it can help offset the damage caused by gastric juices.
    • Peel and chop two carrots, then mix them with a sheet of white cabbage and a glass of water. Then drink this drink between meals.
    • Peel and cut a potato. Then cut three tomatoes and remove the seeds. Wash a cabbage leaf, then mix everything with a glass of water. Then strain the drink and drink it twice a day.
    • Then mix half an eggplant with a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of seaweed (available at health food stores). Chop all ingredients in a blender and mix with half a glass of water.
    • Then bring a cup of water with a tablespoon of lemon balm and a tablespoon of chamomile to a boil for five minutes. Let the tea steep, then drink it after dinner.
